 Seasonal tradition

Seasonal tradition represents things, scenes and cultures particular to a certain season.

*Nyubai (the beginning of the rainy season) (June): A cochlea slowly crawling on a leaf above hydrangeas with rain drops.
*Tanabata (Star Festival) (July): “Tanzaku,” or small pieces of paper, on which wishes are written down and bamboo leaves under the eave swaying in the summer breeze.
*Matsuri (festival) (August): Fireworks that light up the night sky at the climax of the summer festival.

Five items that represent the respective scenes are expressed with colors.

*The items and pen nibs are as follow:
“Hydrangea = Extra broad,” “Cochlea = Soft fine,” “Bamboo = Music,” “Firework = Ultra extra fine” and “Night sky = Extra fine” are respectively expressed with colors.
